What data do we collect?

  • Registration and Account: During registration we collect a username, email address and password (encrypted). The email is used for account verification and essential communication.
  • Newsletter: If you have subscribed to the mailing list, we keep your email address and preferred language to send updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.
  • Tools (Calculator, Selector, Protocol): The data you enter into the tools (age, gender, habits, goals, and health values you choose to enter) is processed to display a result for you. For visitors who are not logged in, the data is sent to the server for calculation purposes only and is not stored. For logged-in users, we save this input and associate it with your account to enable personalized features (pre-filling fields in tools, your personal protocol, and continuity between visits). You can update the data at any time, and deleting the account removes it.
  • My supplements list: If you are logged in and add supplements to your personal list (via "My Supplements", the supplement selector, the interaction checker, or articles), we save the names of the supplements you have marked as taking, including free-text names you type yourself, to enable repurchase, interaction checking, and protocol display. The name of a supplement not in our database may also be saved in aggregate form (without identifying who requested it) so we know which supplements to add in the future. You can remove supplements from the list at any time, and deleting your account deletes the list.
  • Supplement Reviews: If you are logged in and publish a review of a supplement, we store the rating (1 to 5 stars), free text, and any optional demographic details you choose to add (age, sex, weight). The ethnicity field is sensitive information and is only stored if you give explicit consent; it can be left blank. Reviews are displayed on the site anonymously, with only a review number and without a username, and are approved before publication. We internally store the link between the review and the account to allow one review per supplement, editing, and moderation. Deleting the account deletes your reviews.
  • Questions for the community: If you are logged in and send a question through the Q&A page, we keep the question text and associate it with your account for moderation and rate-limiting purposes. Questions are published only after our approval and editing, and are displayed anonymously, without the username. Please note that the published question text is public, so do not include any personal, identifying, or medical information in it. Deleting your account will delete your questions.
  • Analytics and usage: We collect usage data (pages viewed, IP address, browser and device type, country) to improve the site and for statistics. We also use Google Analytics, which may place cookies and process data in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
  • Cookies:
    • Cookies for managing account login and saving preferences (such as language).
    • Referral identification cookie (if you arrived through a friend's invitation link), which is stored for up to 60 days.
    • Analytics cookies for measuring usage.
  • Affiliate links: The site includes affiliate links (mainly to iHerb). When you click and go to an external site, the privacy policy of that site applies, and we may earn a commission from purchases.
  • Embedded content: Articles may include embedded content (such as YouTube videos). These sites may collect data and use their own cookies.

How we use information

  • To provide the website, account, and tools services.
  • To send the verification, newsletter, and updates you requested.
  • Improve the site, analyze usage, and prevent abuse and spam.

With whom do we share the information

We do not sell your information. We only share data with service providers required to operate the site: analytics service (Google), email delivery provider, and translation and hosting services. Each of them processes the data according to its own policy.

Information retention period

  • Accounts: Account information is kept as long as the account is active. Deletion can be requested at any time.
  • Tools input and supplement list: They are kept as long as the account is active and are used to activate personalized features. They are deleted when the account is deleted or at your request.
  • Usage data: Stored for a limited period for statistical and improvement purposes.

Your rights

  • Review the information we hold about you, correct it or update it.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Remove yourself from the mailing list at any time.
